Ok, I've had this awful self portrait in my portfolio for almost a year, now .. and it was time to make a replacement for it so I can take that piece of crap embarassment out. (Yes, I really hate it...) So, here's a new one. Perhaps I will loathe this one in a year too - one can only hope. Just shows you're getting better, right? Learned a lot with this one .. as I have with a bunch of the last few. Done entirely in photoshop. I need a new tablet.

I find the tiny graphire ones tend to not like photoshop too much and create 'blocky' kind of lines when it comes time to paint quick, confident strokes... anyone else have this problem?

First I'd like to say good job, it is very beautiful. It may be just me, but the eyes are a little small, and a little too high up the face. It may be accurate, but I think if you lowered them a little and made them bigger it would be more appealing to the eye. Love your hair!
